Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has decided to forego his senior season and will enter the 2020 NFL Draft. Tua, who suffered a hip injury late in the 2019 season, is still expected to be a top selection in April’s draft with many mock drafts projecting him to be a top five pick.

The former Heisman Trophy runner-up made the announcement during a news conference on Monday at the Mal Moore Athletic Facility on campus, calling it a “difficult decision” he made after consulting with his parents, pastors, doctors and coaches.
